Small Shelter Island Foundation (SSI Foundation) is a non-profit organization engaged in social, humanitarian, religious, and environmental fields, and manages legally established foundation business units in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. SSI Foundation focuses on improving the quality of life of communities, particularly in small-island regions, through educational approaches, environmental protection, the strengthening of religious values, and humanitarian response. All foundation activities are carried out in alignment with the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a reference for inclusive and sustainable development.

  1. Orphans and Underprivileged Support Program: Providing assistance to meet basic needs and ensure the continuity of education for orphans and underprivileged children through cash and non-cash aid, food packages, school supplies, and religious guidance.
  2. Religious Education Assistance Program: Supporting access to religious education for underprivileged communities through financial assistance, religious books or scriptures, uniforms, and stationery.

Currently, SSI Foundation focuses on mentoring existing schools through environmental awareness activities while preparing for the establishment of Nature Schools at various educational levels.

  3. Environmental Campaigns and Actions: SSI Foundation facilitates environmental campaigns, forest conservation fundraising, and reforestation activities as efforts to protect natural environmental elements.
  4. Research and Human Resource Development: SSI Foundation conducts research, studies, and assessments related to forestry and environmental sustainability on small islands, while also enhancing the capacity and skills of local human resources.
